About the event

You're cordially invited to join us on a journey of discovery and adventure as we unveil the "Other Monuments" project, an interactive walking route created in collaboration with marginalized groups and individuals in the Marzahn district.

On January 28th and 29th, we'll kick off the project with guided group tours that will take you through the streets and neighborhoods of the Marzahn-Mitte region, as you explore the city's rich history and memories through the eyes of the disabled, displaced, exiled and immigrant individuals who call it home. This is a unique opportunity to see the city from a different perspective and discover hidden gems and stories that often go untold.

For the next month, the route will be open for the public to experience on their own, as they follow the personal memories and stories of the people who live in the region. The project aims to create "personal monuments" and to give everyone the chance to experience Berlin as it's experienced by marginalized individuals.

We would love for you to join us on this exciting adventure and be a part of something special. We can't wait to share this experience with you!
